The Homestay Room was clean and modern. It is close to a petrol station convience store. A pub and take away is in walking distance. Ciara checked me in and was accomodating. I had difficulty using the house key and shower controls due to my infamiliarity. All said I enjoyed my stay in Ballyboughal.

The parking for the hotel is almost a half mile away across a busy road and attached to the hospital. They don't tell you this until you book and then they don't even give you an exact location in the email they send. We had to luckily find a spot right in front and run in and ask where the parking is. If the parking is full at the hospital, you are SOL unless you wait in line for a spot to open and then drive around trying to find one. Then haul your luggage a half mile. The hotel itself is great, it is super clean with friendly staff, but that parking situation sucks.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Marlin Hotel! Loved the convenient location with easy access to Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green and many other attractions. Clean, convenient hotel with friendly staff. Room was cozy and comfortable. Super blackout curtains were much appreciated! Close to everything and easy to get public transit, including the Dublin Express to and from the airport.
