"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. "Comfortable place to stay while exploring the counties of Silgo and Mayo. Slept like a queen in the wonderful bed, room overlooking a peaceful pasture and rolling landscape. Efficient little kitchen and large living room with a stove (pellet) to take the chill out of the cool spring nights. Host Sheila picked me up at the train station and was a wealth of information about the area. Wished I'd lingered longer....."
