We had a fantastic stay at The River Inn. The highlight of our experience was definitely the staff—everyone was exceptionally pleasant, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating from check-in to check-out. They went out of their way to answer questions, provide recommendations, and make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to many of Washington’s major attractions, monuments, museums, restaurants, and transit options. It made sightseeing very convenient while still being in a quieter area away from the crowds. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. While the décor is a little dated compared to newer hotels, the suite was fully furnished and included a complete kitchen, which was incredibly convenient and added great value to our stay. Having the extra space and amenities made it feel more like a home away from home. Overall, The River Inn offers outstanding service, a great location, and spacious accommodations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Washington, DC.
