"A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better. This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle."

"Very clean and had most things we needed. Bed was really comfy and the view was beautiful. Only slight issue was that the underfloor heating was quite noisy, especially at night but it didn’t really affect our stay, just took a while to get used to."

"My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. The bathroom was small but perfectly usable with a decent, electric, shower. Upstairs was the bedroom with good storage facilities and a comfortable double bed...
