"The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....

"Viihtyisä mökkikylä rauhallisella alueella. Hyvät allasalueet. Sora ääninen kukko herätti aamuisin, joka oli omalla tavallaan viehättävää. Aamupala buffet oli riittävä. Huoneet siistejä, mutta kylpyhuoneessa viemärin hajua. Plussaa mökkikylän ystävällisistä koirista. Tulen yöpymään täällä vielä uudelleen, jos palaan maahan. Viikko vierähti nopeasti tässä paikassa."

"We checked in after staying at La Vela, with excellent support from Jan who is friendly, fun and very professional. We'd been allocated a villa - fantastic upgrade. If you can afford it, go for it! The rooms are enormous and luxurious. Everything you could ask for is there. The grounds are beautiful, manicured and lush. The pools are huge with so many sunbeds both poolside and beach side you'll be spoiled for choice. It's so perfect that I'm half afraid to return in case it's not so good next...

"Great place to stay, in a little hub by the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful and so welcoming. The room was well set out with a comfy bed and spacious area with a kitchen setup and a couch/kitchenette (microwave dinnerware) Thoroughly enjoyed staying here!"
