"Decent hotel if a bit dear for what it was. All in all fine for night or two but restaurant understaffed for both dinner and breakfast which lead to long waiting times was main let down"

"My room, as usual was excellent. Being a regular visitor of several times a year, I’ve always found my ‘home from home’ at Doolys hotel. The staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier or more attentive. They take excellent care of me each time I’m there. From arrival, receptionist is Niamh, Ciara or Marisa, to the bar, restaurant and night porter Gerry. Honestly, every single one of them treat me like I’ve known them all my life. I couldn ’t rate them any better. See you all in 6 wks. Marguerite"

"We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful castle hotel. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also extremely nice with a hot option (like pancakes/sausage) included. Only complaint is that there needs to be some pest control inside, as there were spiders in every corner of the ceiling as well as one running around by my toilet. The grounds were incredible and we wished we had more time to stay and hike around them as others seemed to know to plan. We hope to be back!"

"Charming home with everything you need to relax after day trips in the area. Centrally located so we were able to go a lot of places within 2 hours or just in the Banagher/Birr area. Shopping and restaurants were within 15 minutes. Joe and Carmel were very welcoming and provided resources for the area in addition to this fine home. Weather allowed us to enjoy the back patio area . Would come back in a minute!"

"Margaret and Stephen were great hosts. They were always in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They also provided good recommendation for places to visit in the area. Overall, it was a great experience and would stay there again if we are ever back in the area."
