"The staff were above and beyond helpful with meals, dry cleaning, and recommendations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious each day. The room was large, modern, clean, and facing away from the noise of the streets. The view was lovely and private. I think we had a much better stay than our travel companions who stayed at another hotel 4 minutes away. I would recommend Hotel Amigo to anyone travelling to Mumbai. "Its an excellent budget hotel in an area of Mumbai that has a lot of life. I was the only white female I saw for days but had no troubles infact had an excellent time meeting people. The jewel in their crown is the restaurant downstairs- the food is spectacular. Even if you don’t stay come eat here and walk the neighbourhood - though I only kept to main roads and not the alleyways and slums. An overall excellent experience I would highly recommend. "

"The property itself was stunning but I had a number of issues that were not remediated satisfactorily. I booked a suite with a bath and on my first night I was given the wrong room being the smallest and most basic on offer. I was assured by 11am the next morning I would be given the correct room.
