"We always enjoy staying at the cottage in the cove! Julie is a great host and her rental has great amenities. We went during winter so didn’t use the lake or swim deck. We spent our time in front of the fireplace, cooking a big breakfast, playing board games or enjoying the screened in porch. We visit Smith Lake yearly and let our kids pick the rental for this trip. All four voted for Cottage in the Cove! They adore the screened in porch with ping pong, hammocks and foosball. We are ready to come back in the summer. We like to rent the cabin next door too when we have a larger group. The docks are close and it’s a good set up when multiple rentals are needed. "

"We celebrated my husband’s 55th birthday with family and friends. Daniel the host was more than accommodating. He let us check in early and check out late. I know this could not have happened if he was expecting new guests. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. The views were amazing. My husband said this was his best birthday. We will definitely be back. "

"Perfect place for our Annual Presence over Presents Family Christmas Trip. The owner has thought of every little detail to make this house a magical and homey experience!! From the fully stocked coffee bar to the game room to plenty of sitting, lounging and eating areas. No need to wonder where something goes in the kitchen, don’t worry everything is labeled which makes it so easy.We especially enjoyed the fire pit with the supplies fully stocked smores bar. The hot tub and sauna sure came in handy since it was cold. Forgot your toothbrush, no problem they have you covered!! The views are AMAZING!! "

It was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy.... the screened in porch and deck with rockers were favorite spots; and the view was so peaceful. "
