"Staff were great and helpful, room cleanliness was extremely substandard. Ensuite bathroom felt like a public toilet. Carpets felt grimy. Bedding had blood and large yellow stains. “Shared living space” is two chairs and a coffee table in a hallway. Hallway smelt like smoke. Booked for two nights and ended up leaving after the first. ‘The Mill hotel’ is only a 5 minute drive away and around the same price, absolutely a steal for the price. If you’re wanting to stay in that area I highly suggest...

I've twice had minor problems with a blocked sink, but I've always had A/C's that worked well, fridges that worked well and froze water and very clean rooms. Rare features in budget hotels these days. And the hotel and grounds are always clean and tidy. "

The bar was very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Hand soap in the shared bathrooms would have been great. Cigarette smoke was wafting into our room through the small gap under the door throughout the night."
