Gorgeous view of the mountains. Love the separate floors have their own living room and kitchen. Very peaceful. Great communication & responsiveness with the host. Only complaint is water pressure. If someone is taking a shower, there is no water available in the other sinks or showers. Housekeeping should have vacuumed. water
This home was ideal for our holiday stay. With 3 floors, bedrooms on all it worked well with our family. Two kitchens really helped with the amount of holiday cooking we did. Only downside was the carpet on lower level very dirty, and the heat was so bad on the 3rd level was unbearable. A separate A/c system might be helpful as the fan did not help at all. Location is great, but very tricky/ dangerous getting out of the driveway.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view was amazing. The hot tub was huge and very clean upon arrival. We had a great time exploring around the area. Would definitely recommend for larger groups looking to stay in the area!!
advertised to have wood burning fireplace, it did not. Gas fireplace also did not work and they avoided acknowledging multiple requests to fix! Several electrically outlets outside did not work, and when that was reported the day of check in, they charged me 378 to fix! They deck railing is rotting. cookware is extremely old, and not clean, food stuck to several pots and pans. Extremely dissappointed.
Really enjoyed this house. The view is stunning and it fit our family very well. It is also very conveniently located near Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, and a lot of other hikes, parks, and attractions. We had a blast The only issue we had was that the carpet in the basement smelled a lot like dog pee and when I was making sure we got all of our items from under furniture I found a lot of stink bug carcasses upstairs under the bed and prior renter's trash/items under the tv stand in the living room. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
We enjoyed our stay at Beary Relaxing Cabin. The house is large and has a great 2 tiered rap around porch. The views of grandfather mountain were amazing. The hot tub is party size. I would review the bed set-up though. We had trouble trying to get 4 families with no small children to figure out sleeping arrangements. It would be nice if the place had a gas grill instead of a charcoal grill.

Really hate to complain but when you pay almost $5,000 for less than a full week in peak winter season you do have some expectations…
- fireplace took a min to figure out how to work, but we finally did, however the heat rises so high into the upstairs loft it made it unbearable… could never figure out the fan up high which might have helped…no remote for that, the switch says living room fan but it doesn’t work, the light does but no fan that we could see so it was uncomfortable..upstairs if fire was on downstairs
- No remote for tv in main floor bedroom, the remote that is in there does not work or is satellite/cable only, either that or tv just doesn’t work
- No water pressure whatsoever throughout the entire house for the entire stay, washed dishes and showered with a tiny stream (all 11 people) it was ridiculous
- Tried to wash one load of clothes, they got sopping wet, took 4/5 hours to dry, washer locked and never unlocked
- Burners on stove, some work, some don’t, it was difficult when trying to cook…
- The floor is rotten with soft spots in bedroom on main floor with twin beds ..
- No trash pick up it’s slap full with 11 people staying here, it says to leave excess in kitchen on floor prior to departure
- Driveway is very narrow and dangerous to exit , although I’m sure that’s the norm around here to be narrow, there is a drop off and although we did figure it out, not very safe
- There were a lot of towels for hot tub but not enough for showers for
