"Fabulous hotel! The staff were lovely, the room was clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were just beautiful. The decor was stunning! Breakfast was incredible, and having the pub right next door was very handy - we had dinner and checked out the jazz band. Easy drive into Cork and 5 mins walk to Blarney Castle, so location is very good. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!"

"The breakfast was excellent and orders taken for main breakfast and self service for cereal etc. Staff member was most helpful and took order for what you wanted rather than full breakfast. Did not use spa. The breakfast room was spotless "

"Beautiful period property in quiet rural location, 15 minutes drive to shops, pubs & restaurants. Contactless checkin/out. The host, Ger, suggested picking up supplies prior to our arrival which was helpful. We saw him just the one time, when we phoned for him to come by to help with the oven and replace the light bulb upstairs. He was very friendly and invited us to explore the property freely. Our only suggestions would be to improve the lighting in the bedrooms e.g. bed side tables with lamps. Also the family ancestor photographs could be moved into an album so that guests could enjoy them if they chose to. Overall we enjoyed our 4 days at the farmhouse and would recommend it to friends and family. "

"Very peaceful environment with no pressure to do anything or be anywhere. Local shops were a drive away. The owners were so friendly and helpful when we showed up from our disaster travels. They helped us get food and to finally get our rental car…a must for travel. So thankful to them."
