The Front Desk & The Housekeeping Team were Amazing! The water pressure in the shower was Excellent. The beds were comfortable to my surprise. The hotel is off the Lake which had a nice view. I left my work tablet behind & the staff immediately called me to return it. However, I was to far away to turn around, so the front desk put it in the mail. I was very appreciative of the hospitality My family & I received.

Room with a view
The staff was very friendly. We didn't really have any special interaction with them so I can't say what would have happened if we needed anything. There is not a complimentary breakfast which surprised us but there is a restaurant on site. Our waitress was the best server we've ever had and the portions are way to generous for the price asked..I'd recommend thinking about splitting a breakfast. Our only complaint was that we had a king said bed and the mattress cover and fitted sheet wouldn't not stay over the pillow top on the mattress. We struggled to keep the sheets on and not sleep in a heap of bedding or sleep on the mattress. It sounds minor but it disrupted both me and my husbands sleep. We were also at the end of a hall across from the stairwell. A lot of noise came through everytime any one used the stairwell. Would have been nicer if the door was a little more soundproof. The hotel has a comfortable room with computer for guest use. An exercise room, hot tub and indoor pool. Our room was nice sized, clean and plenty of electronics related outlets, refrigerator, microwave and coffee. A clean room. Our room also had a nice view of the lake and sunrise.

I do want to apologize for the noise you had experienced being close to a stairwell entrance, outside noises can be frustrating indeed. I will address the mattress discomfort with our housekeeping department, that certainly doesn't sound like a restful night at all. It was good overall. Bed comfy, nice hot shower, vanity large enough,jacuzzi & pool & good restaurant but would have better with more options & right in the lake. Staff friendly at front desk & restaurant. I’d recommend.

Rooms are not worth the the high prices, and no complimentary breakfast as consolation. Meals served in the brightly lit utilitarian room they call a "restaurant" (but seems more like a former complimentary breakfast room) are way (emphasis needed) overpriced.

We were on our Fall Trip and we wanted to stay in this area for the night. I had made reservations from information I learned On Line and was very satisfied with our stay. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. In the future if we continue ie to visit this area , I will again make reservations for our stay here. Employees from the Front Desk and Dining Room were great.

It was very clean . The only bad thing was the window screen was full of holes so we couldn’t open it. Would have liked hearing the waves of Lake Superior right outside our window.
