Barcelona Guest House at its Best
Great place to stay. Close to everything and in walking distance is a great Mercado (fresh market). From the market we bought most of what we needed for our dinners, fresh cheese, olives, meat, and fruit. Tony was a great guide for our walking gastronomical tour and our trip to Montserrat.

Perfect in every way!
We can’t wait to go back! The condo was perfect in every way, two bedrooms, pull out couch, closets, two bath and washer and dryer! The location could not have been any more convenient, metro just down the street, great bars, supermarkets, restaurant's and coffee shops within minutes. We were welcomed by Tony on day one, helpful with any questions we had, also did a day tour to Montserrat and local beaches. Could not ask for a better vacation! Highly recommended!!

Great Condo
The location is great. We went to a Madrid soccer game and walked back in about 40 minutes. Lots of cafes on the block to choose from. Washer and dryer in the unit unlike most rentals have just a washer. Very responsive property manager using WhatsApp. For US folks texting by phone is our usual method of communication but you will need WhatsApp for communicating with Toni.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean apartment in a very convenient location. Management is very responsive and met us at the apartment upon checking in. A metro station is 2 min away, which is very convenient. Very enjoyable stay.

A fabulous stay
This property was just as listed. Extremely comfortable beds, great location and close to cafes, restaurants and shops and ideal location for walking around the city. Very clean, and Mr. Tony went above and beyond as our tour guide to show us all the sites and offer the history of Barcelona. Highly recommend!

Very clean, roomy & well appointed apartment. Easy to get to from airport or train station. Easy & close access to Metro stations. Not as close to Barcelona tourist hotspots by walking as advertised. i.e. La Ramblas/Placa Catalunya not 10 minutes walk but 25-30 minutes walk. Dirty neighborhood but seemingly safe. Don't lose your smart key! Very Excessive replacement charge 'must be cash' without receiving replacement. Host was there within 12 hours to collect the cash for replacement but could/would not provide a replacement for at least five days? No spare? What to do if it’s your only key? Prearranged Host 'Car Service' to the airport is 80 Euros ‘to be paid in cash upon arrival’ as advertised on the VRBO host site and is just a city taxi. Regular city taxi is 30-40 Euros with various payment options for the same trip. Overall good accommodation experience with excellent host & communication but would not return to this facility due to the location area & distances to places of interest in Barcelona.

Wonderful property!
We so enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Tony and Miguel could not have been more accommodating and responsive. When we reached out to them with a few requests, we received immediate responses. To us, this level of service makes all the difference in a successful VRBO experience. On top of that, the apartment itself was great. Loved having the 2 bedrooms and baths for our small family group of 4. The showers had great water pressure, kitchen was nice and had everything we needed, AC worked great, and overall the apartment was very comfortable. The building is very secure - two locked entrances and an elevator code is required to get up to the upper levels. The neighborhood is awesome! Bakeries, restaurants, super markets, fruit stands, shopping all around, and the beautiful Sant Antoni market is just two blocks away. Metro is one block away - we used it several times - it is clean and safe. We discovered wonderful tapas at A Mi Manera just a few blocks away (ate there twice!). And regularly stopped at Forn De Pa Belmonte for our morning pastries - delicious! All in all, a wonderful stay!!

Nice apt great location
The apartment was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable for our family of 4. There is central AC which was appreciated in the hot aug month. Tony was very kind and met us at the door and showed us around the apt, which was helpful. He welcomed us with a bottle of wine, water and fruit, which was really nice. The location was great as its right next to the metro and it took only about 15 min to get to any of the locations we really wanted to go to. There are many café and tapas placea around. My only criticism is in the emenities provided. We only had 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 tablets for the dish washer, 2 tablets for laundry (this was fine, really didnt need more of those). It really would have been nice to have dishwasher detergent and not have to go buy for for the short stay, which includes the toilet paper as well. The kitchen has most things we needed, but there are no small sharp knifes and the 2 pans are old, rusty and scraped up. I would invest in stainless steal pans so that the scratches are not important. The coffee machine was quite dirty and we didnt use it, but there's a great many coffee shops within a block from the house, so it didnt matter. Overall we had a nice stay. Thanks for hosting!

Thanks for your comment. The flat is in a very central area close to the major sightseeing’s of Barcelona but out of the tourist crowds. They are very well known for its amazing restaurants and cafes. The flat is ideal as a base to explore Barcelona. We refurbish it on 2016 with very high quality materials. We want to apology for the inconvenience on toilet paper and dishwasher soap. We have extra rolls and extra tablets for the washing machine inside one of the closets. I will speak with the cleaning lady as we leave also dishwasher soap. It must have been a mistake and we want to apology for that. I will also speak with the cleaning team about the coffee machine. As for the pans I will check it and of course change them if they are so scratched. We have very high standards of cleaning and we do not accept that there is any dirt anywhere. We offer complimentary coffee, fresh fruit and bottled water at the flat for its use. All our bed linens and towels are of the best quality, and we really take care to offer a 5 stars experience. We want to thank you for staying with us and we will work hard to improve. Thanks for choosing us to stay in Barcelona.

Great apartment and location!
The apartment had everything we needed and was close on a block with a great bakery, restaurants, and market just around the corner. Also very close to Metro, easy to get around. We (with our 14 year old) also took a walking tour with Mr. Tony, which was totally worth it! We got a lot of insight into Barcelona that we would have missed!

Our time spent at this property was excellent. There were 5 of us and we had the comforts of home. There were 2 bathrooms that worked out well for us. Two bedrooms, and a pullout couch was also good for our needs. Walking diistance to the beach and various shopping places were a bit far, but we walked the distance and were pleased with the steps we accumulated. Taxis were available at the corner of this property's street if needed.

Great Stay in Barcelona
We arrived late due to a delayed flight but we communicated the change and there was no issue. Great building located close to the Poble Sec metro stop. Easy to get around to the cathedral of Barcelona and museums in the gothic quarter, one stop from the funicular to go up to Montjuic, and easy to get to the Sagrada Familia. Breakfast in the morning or a gelato break are steps away at Il caffe de Fancesco on the corner. Had a great meal at Papagayo as well. There was even a small park in the central plaza of the block great for kids. One of our best VRBOs on our Spain trip.

Comfortable stay
A very comfortable apartment for four, located in a quiet neighborhood, close to a variety of restaurants and bars. The location is at least 20 minutes walk from most Barcelona tourist sites, but accessible bus and metro services are within 2 blocks. We’ll equipped and maintained. Host, Tony, is an amazing communicator, dedicated to your comfortable stay, and offering many additional services, including tours, pre-stocking your kitchen, medical equipment rentals, etc.

Fantastic property and location!
My family of five LOVED this stay! The location is amazing and the property worked perfectly for my wife and me, our daughters and our son (who got the pullout couch ;-). After providing our flight information, Tony literally met us at the door when we arrived. Check in could not have been easier. We were given a short, but informative tour of the property and even provided a bottle of wine as a 'Welcome to Barcelona'. Tony offered his services as a tour guide and we immediately jumped on the opportunity (if you have a chance to see Montserrat with Tony, don't miss it!). As far as the apartment, everything was perfect. Two beds, two baths and a comfortable sitting area. Everything was clean and we had plenty of everything needed (towels, soaps, etc). The kitchen was a good size, but we did not cook in it. I poked around a bit and it appeared that everything needed to make a meal was available - there are just so many great restaurants nearby we did not choose to cook. On reflection, the best feature of the property is probably the location. Just a block away from the nearest Barcelona metro stop which was an amazing advantage. My family purchased one ticket good for 70 'rides' and it was perfect! Navigating the metro system is very easy and it would be a shame to stay in a location where the metro is not an option. We really appreciated and enjoyed the property and the people we met. For groups of 4 or 5 people, book this property!

Fabulous stay
Our stay at this apartment was wonderful. The location is perfect. Delightful Sant Antoni Market is 2 blocks away for food and shopping. Other local eateries and supermarket are less than 1 block. Don't miss A Mi Manera restaurant. If we are ever back in Barcelona we will stay here again. You need to bring your own converters. Tours picked us up at the location. Thanks to Tony for all his help!

Very clean, comfortable apartment. Our host, Tony, could not do enough for us. He was most helpful with recreation and restaurant recommendations and booking reservations on our behalf; he even offered to show us around the neighborhood. He also spent an entire day with us on private sightseeing tours, purchasing entry tickets in advance, and making lunch reservations at a seaside resort. He was a wonderful asset!

The experience was great…the prompt and helpful communication, personal service, attention to detail (fruit, water and wine put in the apartment), cleanliness, pre-arranged taxi service between the airport and apartment and an amazing full day private tour to Montserrat, a winery and Sitges with Tony. The place was lovely and true to the pictures! We had a wonderful stay in a great location with lots of things to do nearby. Terrific Apartment in Charming Neighborhood
We almost cancelled our stay in this terrific apartment because of a review we read prior to our stay. It had mentioned cigarette smoke, lack of hot water and things not being well stocked. None of that was true during our stay. The apartment was great, it worked perfectly for us (two couples). It is also located in a charming, local neighborhood. The management was very accessible and responsive to our needs. In fact, Eddie offers personalized tours. He took us on a walking tour of Barcelona one day and a Montserrat/Freixenet winery/Sitges tour another day. We enjoyed the private tour as opposed to going with a big group. Five stars all around. Thanks, Miguel and Eddie! We loved Barcelona and staying at your apartment.

Property Falls Short for Price Paid
PROBLEMS: 1) After 2 people take a (short) shower, hot water runs out. We were a party of 4. 2.) Apartment reeked of cigarette smoke. 3.) Apartment was not properly stocked. One toilet paper roll per person, one hand towel per person, one shower towel per person. NO EXTRA GARBAGE BAGS. That was for a 6-day, 5-night rental. Not enough kitchen utensils. Not a single frying pan. No paper towels. It was a disappointment for the price we paid. I would not recommend it.

We really appreciate customers who get in contact with us when they have any problem in the apartment, miss any domestic ítem or even when they need assistance of any kind during their stay in Barcelona. We are always happy to help and easily reached by phone or WhatsApp. Furthermore, we have a 24h maintenance person. We are not so happy when customers do not convey to us any problem during a six day stay but are prone to write a damaging review with a list of issues that I personally checked before delivering the keys (Smoke smell in the first use of the apartment after COVID period? Not a frying pan? Hot wáter shortage with a 300 liter tank?) or could have been easily solved (Extra garbage bags) with just a WhatsApp message. We have been hosting customers since 2012. We are small family business and satisfied customers play a crucial role for us. We have around 80 (EIGHTY!) great reviews confirming the exceptional listing and service that we offer, based on a close contact with our customers and immediate response when any unforseen issue appears. Close to subway, clean property, hosts very communicative. We had detailed plans already so we didn't take advantage but they offered a number of tours etc. Only negative was that they only provided one key which was inconvenient as we were four people who often separated for different activities.

Very modern building and unit with all the appliances needed for a short or long stay. Could use a newer, larger drip coffee maker but what is there will do for now. Landlord was fluent in English and very accommodating in showing us everything we needed to know about the unit and was readily available if needed.
