My room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel seems new and located nearby metro station and that made visiting many places so easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was okay except the shower handle that didn’t hold in place so we needed to shower and hold the handle throughout the whole time. There is no free parking available around the hotel. The green zone parking is available be need to be paid from 8am to 9pm. Other than that, it was an okay hotel.

The hotel was easy access for the metro into Barcelona. The room was great and not noisy at all. The breakfast was delicious.

I do not advise anyone!
No one was accommodated in the hotel until 14:00. We arrived at 13:00, there were about 30 people in the lobby, many with small children. No one was even asked for a passport or reservation number to check if their number was already ready. We had 10 people, I tried to find out if at least one room was ready. Received a refusal. Exactly at 14:00, a large queue lined up and everyone began to settle. You can't eat anywhere in the hotel during the siesta. Not even room service. You can't even order a burger or pizza. All this begins to work only at 20:00. If you are out of the way, the chances of something to eat before 20:00 are zero. And we arrived on Sunday, even markets and supermarkets did not work nearby. The room is dirty!

The area is very quiet. Only the interstate is heard when window is open. But air conditioner is fantastic and windows are very solid! Nice size room and bathroom! Great access to public transport and interstate.

Our stay at alimera
Near train station and nice size room, friendly staff. What i did not like ..very long check in. AC was not strong enough in the room ...breakfast out of diferent hotels we stayed on this trip (7 different hotels) this breakfast was a very poor spread ..even granola that all hotels had this one did not ..

Our flight arrived late so I asked the hotel reception if we can extend our stay by 1.5 hours they only allowed half an hour free. There is no tissue box in the room no free water to make a drink or use to brush your teeth. I will not stay at this hotel again!

Buffet breakfast was average at best. Metro is close by though to get downtown. We were on the 1st floor overlooking the entrance and found our room noisy at times. Hotel was very clean.

The only thing that saves this hotel is it's excellent staff. But the beds are the most uncomfortable i have ever slept in. They split apart down the middle and slide around the room. No joke, my toddler was pushing them around. Air conditioning was also broken. And the shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold. It was seriously awful. It was always easy to get a taxi to get around. And like i said the staff was great, they just need to invest in some new beds and some repairs. The property just is in huge need of some maintainence. Would not stay here again.

2nd stay at Alimara
Overall hotel was good. 99% of the staff was very helpful and friendly. However there was a girl with glasses at the front desk who wasn't rude but just wasn't a very nice person. She should not be working in customer service. She seemed to hate her job and seemed irritated at every request. She also did not seem to like kids. She could use some customer service training or find another job.

A comfortable stay in a very nice hotel
Very comfortable hotel in the commercial sector of Sant Cugat - but an easy 15 minute drive into the centre of Sant Cugat. The room was very comfortable but a few things could have moved it from good to excellent - 1. I had a kettle in my room with 1 tea bag and no coffee 2. Parking is €15 per night 3. No bath - just shower

There are actually several dining options nearby as well. Just about 10 minutes from our hotel, you can find two restaurants of traditional Catalan cuisine, one Chinese restaurant, one Galician restaurant, and some local bars. We also have the Summum Restaurant-Bar on-site, with access to the garden terrace, that serves lunch and dinner featuring fresh Mediterranean cuisine with Catalan roots. The hotel is good with respect to rooms, cleanness, huge room and comfort. The Hotel should give a complimentary water bottle because being new to a place hotel should give 1-2 water bottles and they can include it in the room price. Here the point is taking a water bottle from the minibar is not good and that to chargeable. it is a basic need for a guest. I am quite disappointed with this.

Sleep on highway - too noisy
Windows do not close as they should. You sleep on a highway, with associated noise because of that.

The master room was hot to sleep in. It was still a very nice place to stay. Close to the subway so you could get around easily. The staff was very nice

It was clean but not enough amenities, Front desk staff Kevin was very nice but the of of the staff need more training in customer service
