We were welcomed by the owner who introduced us to the area. He and his staff made us feel like family from the very beginning. The hotel practices an environmental approach in their care of the property. There is always someone cleaning the pool or working in the garden. The pool, lawn, and garden are lovingly cared for and it shows. A wonderful full breakfast buffet is included, and it is spectacular. We sat on the patio with other diners and enjoyed a view of the pool, lawn area,, and lake while having breakfast. We are missing it already! There is a 10 minute walking/bike path to the town of Bardolino, where we had great meals, shopping, and sightseeing. All with a view of beautiful Lake Garda and the mountains on the far side. This property is a gem!

I stayed with my wife for five nights and found the hotel and in particular the staff absolutely fantastic. The hotel is spotless and located on the bank of Lake Garda and a leisurely 10 min walk into Bardolino. The pool is located within a grassed area where the loungers are and a jetty at the front is a great place for diving into the lake. They have a lovely lady (mama) who makes pasta and salads each lunchtime - we will miss it!

Early June 22 stay

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, and in a good location. Staff and reception were excellent. It is a very German orientated hotel, not that made any difference to our stay. Enjoyed our holiday, and they were very helpful when our flight was cancelled, sorting our accomodation. Thanks.

Kleines ruhiges Hotel direkt am See
