Conveniently located. Staff and service was excellent - always helpful, a smile on their faces abd very approachable and knowledgeable. Dominic abd Ludo were fantastic. We will definitely return.

I was disappointed with my room, it was for a single person, I wouldn’t stay in this room again, bathroom very dated, shower was barely big enough for a child, let alone a grown adult, bearing in mind, I am only 5ft4 and a size 12. Anyone larger would really struggle. The hotel itself is lovely, very unique design, beautiful features everywhere you look. My room let my experience down. surround area is great, lake is less than 5min walk. Convenance store 5min walk. Bus into Verona outside. Not all staff were friendly and helpful, but there was one or two who were lovely, sorry I cannot remember their names. Very clean hotel.

Lovely stay. Helpful staff. Great location. No Breakfast tea at breakfast so take from your room if you like a morning tea. Restaurant Lunico offered excellent service and probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Thank you.

Fantastic place to stay if you want a chilled and relax break. Very clean, staff were excellent and multi lingual, restaurant is great and very popular in the area. Location is ideal, pharmacy and supermarket within 5 min walk, Lake is 30 seconds away. Pool was lovely and room we stayed in had all your needs, was cleaned daily and had great A/C. Free parking on site. 10/10

A great hotel in a fab location
Stayed here a few weeks ago. The hotel is in a great location between Bardolino (10min walk) and Lazise (30min walk) all via the lake side. On our first night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, I had the tuna and my wife had the Sea Bass and the meals were fantastic which is probably why the restaurant was nearly full so I would suggest booking a table. The only issue we had was the room safe wouldn't work when we checked in, but the staff went out of there way to find us another room straight away If your looking for a hotel based on the lake side within walking distance to Bardolino and Lazise (you don't need a car) then I can fully recommend this hotel

The Art Hotel
The room is great. The dining area is a work of art. There are doors and windows on the ceiling. Bikes on the wall. It sounds crazy, but it's all done with style and you don't see it until you sit down and you notice one thing after another. It's great.

Very comfortable location with a very good restaurant. It would have scored maximum rate if there had been a fridge in the room, however the personnel offered to cool our drinks in the fridge of the bar at ground level

It was advertised as being in Bardolino but barely it’s a long walk to town. The room had weird bathroom arrangements the shower is part of the bed area and no soap holder inside the shower. The staff is helpful and breakfast is good

Awful breakfast - scrambled eggs looked like broken omelettes and were out for hours. Air conditioning from 1980’s sounded like a plane taking off No headboard - 2 old cupboard doors to back the bed Bathroom so small that the shower is in the room Poolside much smaller than pics Balconies very nice

Overall I really liked the hotel. My only very minor jiggle was there was only one very small waste bin in the room and no others around the property. It would also have been a real added bonus to have had access to a small fridge in the room. Otherwise I was very happy with the place and would recommend it to anyone though it is around 1.8km away from the centre of Bardolino so be prepared for some walking!

Nice staff and pool area
Pleasant but the seaview is not really a seaview. If you go out on the balcony and lean over you can just see the lake at a distance. If I had known this I would have booked the cheaper room. They had a lovely breakfast spread and a nice pool. The location was good but you still had to walk a fair distance to get to the main part of Bardolino.

A lovely place to stay
This was a lovely hotel, quirky but comfortable. Spotless clean. Rather unusually, the shower cubicle and wash hand basin was in the bedroom itself, with a curtain to screen the shower. Excellent continental breakfast. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. It is a good 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre of Bardolino, on the main road (and a funfair across the road) but we weren’t troubled by noise when the patio doors were closed. There is a very pleasing pool area. My only slight niggle was that we had booked and paid for a lake view. We imagined pleasant evenings with a glass of wine, sitting on the balcony looking over the water. Sadly, our view was almost completely obscured by a tree right in front of our balcony. One could see the lake if one stood up, so I didn’t feel I had a valid reason to complain, but just to make people aware that ‘lake view’ can be interpreted in a number of ways!! But this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our stay.

Das Hotel Maximilian ist ein sehr schönes Boutique Hotel mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß und die Dusche und das Waschbecken sind direkt im Zimmer. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, sehr gute Lage nur 10 Minuten von Bardolino entfernt und nur 100 Meter vom Gardasee entfernt. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Das Hotel Maximilian ist eine der besten Adressen in Bardolino und überragt durch sein Personal, die stylischen Zimmer und das fantastische Restautant L‘Unico. Wir waren bereits mehrere Male in diesem Hotel und empfehlen es sehr gerne weiter. Unsere Zimmer hatten immer Seeblick. Zum See geht’s über die Straße und nach Bardolino in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß entlang der Promenade. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel und kostenlos. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und verdient allein 5*****

Ein gutes Hotel in dieser Preiskategorie. Etwas entfernt vom Zentrum, jedoch fußläufig in 10 Minuten leicht zu erreichen. Dagegen ist der See nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet , sehr nette s Personal. Es liegt an der Hauptstraße wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind ist es ruhig. Kostenlose Fahrräder wahren super. Leider wie so oft, keine oder wenig Ablage im Bad.

Der Empfang, das Restaurant und das Personal waren hervorragend! Die kostenlose Bereitstellung der Fahrräder war ebenfalls sehr angenehm! Leider ging aus der Beschreibung des Hotelzimmers für uns nicht hervor, dass das Waschbecken und die Dusche im Schlafraum sind. Und bei nur einer Matratze merkte man leider jede nächtliche Bewegung des Partners. Für uns war das leider ungewohnt.

Das Hotel bzw. der Empfang und Speisesaal an sich, ist nett und wie auf den Fotos ersichtlich eingerichtet und soweit gemütlich. Die einfachen Zimmer, vermutlich günstigste Kategorie, sind sehr einfach eingerichtet und klein. Eine schwedische Möbelhaus-Kette lässt grüßen. Zimmer wirken daher sehr steril. Leider war unser Zimmer relativ staubig, was darauf schließen lässt, das nur sehr oberflächlich durchgereinigt, wird (tote Insekten in den Lampenkörpern, Fußleisten und Heizkörper im Bad, recht staubig), sonst aber schon sauber. Das Bad ist relativ modern eingerichtet und ist für einen Kurzurlaub ausreichend. Bett für unser empfinden, sehr bequem (eher hart). Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr umfangreich. Verschiedener landestypischer Aufschnitt, diverse Aufstriche, frisches Obst und Obstsalat, Joghurt Toppings, Eier, verschiedenes Brot- und Brötchen, sowie diverse für Italien typische Kaffeevarianten, Tee, Wasser & Saft. Hervorragende Speisen im Restaurant mit fairen Preisen. Poolbereich sehr schön und ordentlich angelegt. Pool wurde während unseres Aufenthalts mehrfach gereinigt. Poolgröße im Verhältnis zur Hotelgröße ausreichend und angemessen. Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Alles in allem ein, für den Süden und diese Kategorie empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub bei gutem Wetter und wenig Zimmeraufenthalt. Ansonsten sind diverse Restaurants und Bars, fußläufig erreichbar.
