Dining options for lunch and dinner are best resolved with a trip inside Lucca's walls. The co-located restaurant at Albergo Celide has middling reviews; I didn't try it."

"This is a lovely apart suite hotel near the beach between towns of viareggio and forte dei Marni- the rooms are lovely and it has very nice common areas and gardens and a lovely roof terrace. V clean and good quality sheets and towels. It has a heated indoor pool and tennis and padel courts too- all complimentary -and free use of the hotel bikes if you want to get into either town. "

"Very lovely hotel- front desk staff were wonderful. The beaches are gorgeous and recommend using the ones affiliated with the hotel for better rates on beach chairs. We had a really nice stay and wished we’d booked for a day or two longer. Breakfast buffet and a la carte options were super. Could only wish for perhaps more prompt service on the coffee front. Even on mornings when we arrived early it seemed a bit of a struggle. But that is maybe nitpicking. We also loved the lobby bar in the evening for a night cap and a card game. Overall fabulous stay. Thank you! "

"Great location Breakfast it’s inconvenient it’s a buffet style but you need to ask for everything so it’s limited. Gym it’s not good very inconvenient limited equipment and extremely small also it’s a spa gym so it’s used for personal training and no ac so if you need to use the gym it’s not good . "
