"Wir waren mit der Großfamilie samt Kleinkind, Teenagern und Hund unterwegs. Es war für alle direkt am Haus genug geboten. Der Pool ist klasse, zu Anfang wegen der Steinchen allerdings ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig.Der Anstieg nach Barga selbst ist schon ein wenig steil, wir selbst wären es wohl nicht gelaufen, mit Fahrrädern ist es machbar, mit E-Bikes kein Problem.Für die Motorradfahrer unserer Gruppe waren die umliegenden Strecken ein Traum."

"We had a great time in this little ancient town up the hills. It is a short walk from the public parking (about 20 spaces) to the property. Once there we could enjoy a fantastic view to the seaside. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the garden. Great location to walk in the mountains and also just 15-20minutes away from the seaside or other nice places to visit. In summary, I can 100% recommend!"

"We celebrated our wedding here over 5 days with 27 family and friends and we had the most amazing experience. The place is spectacular! It is more beautiful than the pictures can show. Plenty of space for a large group that we never felt on top of each other. Area has many places to explore but you may also not want to leave the beautiful villa! The owners were incredible and celebrated with us throughout the weekend as well. The food cooked by the owners and their team was also amazing....

"A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really...

"We are from Scotland and stayed here a week from 8th November. Excellent hotel. Lovely facilities and fantastic quality. Lovely room ( although we would have preferred to be in the main building than the tower), extremely comfortable bed and all facilities first class. The hotel is excellently positioned for exploring Lucca and reaching the train station to wider explore Tuscany.Staff were all exceptional - breakfast ladies deserve a special mention, they were all lovely and very efficient -as do all the reception staff who likewise were very helpful and always willing and available to assist. We were very impressed. A special mention to Greta on reception. Not only was she first class in dealing with any requirements we had- such as booking a private transfer to the airport- but she was always smiling and cheery and nothing was ever a problem. Compliments to everyone. We hope to be back and will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lucca. Well done and thank you Brian and Joyce "
