The room, bathroom, bedding all very clean and the bedroom was quite large. The welcome we received was very good and a good explanation of how the amenities work. Breakfast was just around the corner in a little cafe (all was very good). There are steps leading upto the room. Aircon a little noisy. The location of the appartment was excellent. Overall very pleased and would definitely go back.

Lovely B&B

Lovely friendly B&B right in the centre of Lucca. Although the room was small it had everything you could need and there was also a sitting area by reception which was great. Very comfortable bed, great air conditioning, good shower. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beware - I booked through Expedia but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate. So I called the B&B to try to make the change but they cannot do this. They saved my room for me but I had to pay for the night I wasn’t there. Annoying. I had a room overlooking the plaza. It’s very noisy with buskers and their sound equipment, for the most part playing music they think Americans would like. Also the volume of diners talking in the street just below, made me want to close the windows much of the time, it was like being at a loud party where you knew no one. It was a great view, so definitely a trade off Monica, who seems to do everything there, was friendly and helpful, but her time there is erratic.

B&B is well located, built on remains of Roman amphitheater and you can see that in the building. Room was small and hot water was only lukewarm in the small shower. Staff was very friendly and cleaned up our room every day including new towels. Don’t go to Lucca in October - every open space and square is taken over by tents and temporary buildings for a comic and game event at the end of the month. Ruins all the views.

Fabulous location. Clean and secure. Cute and authentic old building with character and charm. We had two rooms and each was different. My only criticism is we needed a fan in the room, in between season for AC or heat and was a bit stuffy to sleep. But hostess was friendly and the location can’t be beat. Mycket bra och prisvärt B&B!

Mysigt b&b mycket centralt i den historiska delen av Lucca! Ligger bokstavligt talat på torget där det finns massa restauranger att välja på. Rummen var charmiga och mycket rena, men kom ihåg att det är en mycket gammal byggnad, så förvänta inte ett nybyggt modernt hotell! Frukosten serveras på en restaurang mitt emot, den var (som dom flesta andra frukostar i italien) inte mycket att hurra för när man är van skandinaviska frukostar, men så är det generellt i Italien! Badrummet och dushen var välstädat, enda nackdelen är att dushen bara har ett fastmonterat duschmunstycke på väggen, men det är absolut inget som avgör om jag skulle bo där igen eller inte! Ett tips (som egentligen gäller för alla 5 hotell jag bott på i Italien) är att ha med sig en liten förgreningsskarvsladd i resväskan! Vi fick ladda ena mobilen i badrummet då det knappt fanns lediga eluttag i rummet!

This B&B is right off the main piazza which has convenience, but also a lot of pedestrian traffic nearby, although not right in front of the B&B. Monica, the innkeeper went above & beyond to assist me, while my husband was unfortunately in the nearby hospital. She called taxis & even once came herself to pick me up. She also showed caring & concern which was much appreciated at a trying time.

We loved our stay at this B&B! Our room is the one in the picture and that is exactly what it looked like! Great location in the old Roman Coliseum - the building is built into some of the walls. Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was great - delicious bread and jam, fresh fruit, and lots of other choices that I ignored because I LOVE bread and jam in the morning!
