Unique features of Lucca Historical Center include the historical sites and cafes. Make a stop by Piazza Napoleone or Puccini Museum while you're exploring the area.
A lovely little city that is like stepping back in time and is a bit quieter than a lot of the bigger cities. The city can be seen in a day if you're willing to do a bit of walking and it's a perfect middle point to visit Pisa.

Lucca is a beautiful place, with fantastic views from the city walls. There is so much culture and history and so much for us to cram into two days. Will hopefully be back!

Lucca is a magical place to visit and would recommend the e-bike tour to see all the sites and those hidden gems not known to all tourists.

Perfect for a long weekend - very few cars, lots of restaurants and worth hiring a bike and cycling outside of the walls too.

Lucca is an Italian treasure and great to visit. Don't take the car, the train is ideal.

A charming small city packed with great historic sites, music and other culture, dining, parks, family-friendly, facilities to rent bikes and areas for small children. Other cities of the world take note.

Very limited Uber and taxi options so keep in mind if planning an early or late train trip. That being said, the town is small and it was a 20 minute walk, but not easy with our wheeled luggage in cobblestone streets.

Great little town but got really crowded on Saturday. I would recommend avoiding a Saturday visit
"Convenient for walking into Lucca, classy, stylish . Excellent breakfast. Have stayed a number of different times - perfect for flights to and from Pisa "
"What a great little hotel with wonderful staff. If your looking at a traditional hotel in the heart of the old town then don’t look any further. The staff can’t do enough for you and the hotel is great for a short stay in Lucca. We plan on a return and would defo stay here again."
