Beautiful converted hotel constructed in the 1700’s. Modern amenities. Like an elevator. Room had spa batch and separate shower. Breakfast had sweets and fresh fruits along with cheeses and assorted meats. No eggs. Room was comfortable. Most important is its location in the middle of Centro storico. Parking was a few steps away.

We very much enjoyed our stay. A perfect location within the walls of Lucca, convenient for both dining and shopping. The rooms were clean and our room was done uniquely in hand painted murals. The thing that stands out to me most during our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is great and lovely baked apples

Our second time staying here because of its great location and good breakfast but this time we didn’t get a room with a view. Still good though. Highly recommend the baked apples at breakfast!

While I wouldn't wish my spare time in the room, it was clean and comfortable - I had trouble with controlling the lighting in the room - one switch turned everything off ( not unusual) but nothing would turn off the bathroom light which was a bit frustrating. And while I was happy to have an in-room safe - it was far too small - it couldn't even hold an iPad let alone a LapTop. However the staff were friendly and the breakfast delicious. I'd happily go back for another stay.

Good hotel and we will definitely come again

Good hotel. Well equipped. Great location. Our room was comfortable except the AC is very very very weak. Breakfast was great with lot of choices. Staffs were very nice and very helpful upon asking for recommendation and other needs.

Each and every member of hotel staff was a joy to deal with. Everything was “yes” with a smile and was done willingly and right away, including lifting of heavy bags, answers to our many questions, and great recommendations for dining and shopping.

Hotel not so bad, but my bed was INFESTED with bed bugs, which ruined the remainder of my week in Italy. Contacted the hotel to let them know - but no response. Not even an apology.

Proffsigt men vänligt och mycket trevligt bemötande, familjär stämning, utmärkt frukost och fascinerande rum, vilka alla var unika i olika storlekar. Läget i centrum innanför murarna var det bästa, utan trafikljud. Allt till belåtenhet!

Un nido romantico dal fascino d'altri tempi

Albergo confortevole in ottima posizione centrale, con reception aperta 24/24; ambienti ricchi di dettagli curati ed oggetti vintage, squisitamente piacevoli! Colazione ricca con possibilità di spremute e centrifughe fresche, nonché golose quanto inusuali mele al forno con cannella, come tornare indietro nel tempo! Peccato la mancanza di un'attenzione o una carineria in più, aspettata da una Maison de Charme tanto curata, per il soggiorno in occasione di un anniversario di matrimonio (ben segnalato): una bottiglia di acqua complimentary all'arrivo o un biglietto in camera sarebbero stati apprezzati, invece di una carnera con porta comunicante; una piccolezza, ma sono i dettagli che rendono un posto speciale. Comunque sicuramente un luogo speciale dove tornare.
