In principle Ok, but some problems
The location is OK for the train station, but a bit far for the old town. Depends on your plan. The area is a bit depressing, graffiti, closed shops, broken paving stones. But the room itself was as advertised, sparkling clean. However, the bed collapsed when I sat on it. Bit of cheap IKEA. So be careful when you sit! They did come and fix it. Worse though was the start of building work in the New Year. Drilling and hammering from 7.30 in the morning! I am not sure the rooms should be let if this is going on. Probably finished now. The kitchen needs a few additions, especially a chopping board and a sharp knife, as well as some decent mugs for tea. So, OK but with these reservations
This guesthouse markets itself as a hotel. They won't let you keep your luggage there, they have all these weird rules about everything and were completely unprofessional when I texted them, yelling at me. I would not recommend to stay here, as it was the cheapest option in the city, it was truly terrible and extremely expensive for what you got which is like nothing. Going to an acutal guesthouse or b&b would be a much better option as there aren't many budget options in bari. Also staying in bari in general is really not needed as its a port town. I would recommend to skip entirely.

Overpriced Hotel
Overpriced hotel just outside the city center (30min walk to the old city).
The good: it had all we needed, parking was easy and mostly clean.
Not so good: not the nicest neighborhood, the desk in the room seemed like it was about to break, lots of noise coming from the common kitchen in the morning.
Not acceptable: the description in Hotels.com says you will be greeted in person, which we didn’t. We sent our arrival information 3 days prior to arrival as requested and other than an automated answer, we got no further information. We got to the address thanks to Google, but the hotel has no sign, so we were not sure if we were right. Calling the number they gave us didn’t help, so we had to start searching in the internet for more information. We found a number where they told us they do only bookings, but gave us a third number, which did not work. It was until we texted over WhatsApp, that they finally answered with the information (keys were in a security box and instructions to get in). It took us about 15min, which might not sound long, but it was very stressful up to the point we thought it was a scam.
Add to that, the we payed over a 110€ for a super basic room in a shabby neighborhood which was not really central.
Nice and clean apartment / hotel room. Check-in was very easy and parking is included in a nearby garage. Walking distance to the historic city center (15 minutes).
