"Stayed at The Read House Hotel and had a great overall experience. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The common areas were inviting with nice private nooks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern but the shower design did get the floor wet easily. The bed was comfortable, but there were no extra linens for the pull out. When we called, they only brought a sheet and couldn’t find a blanket. The pool was clean and nice, but not heated (personal preference) and the waterfall made it pretty loud. Overall, I’d stay again!"

" This hotel was amazing. It felt like stepping back 100 years. They put so many thoughtful details into it—even down to the cute coffee pot. There was even an umbrella hanging in the closet. The location was perfect, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay there again."

"It is a pretty spacious home, conveniently located near all the places we wanted to visit. There was plenty of room for all six of us to roam through the house freely. There was a discrepancy with price….the VRBO site says no hidden fees, but then added them to the cost once we booked. We went ahead and kept the booking because of the proximity to everything. Host has a playground for the kiddos and a nice garden to view, as well as several books to read and games to play. "
