"Clean room and all the staff were great! "

"The room was quite small in comparison to the pictures online. We had an issue with valet parking, but when we attempted to resolve with the hotel, they told us it was a completely different company and they couldn’t help us. This of course was not disclosed before we had the issue also the bathroom door is frosted glass and there is really not much privacy at all. Also, the blackout drapes wouldn’t close completely so we had to pin them closed. "

"Overall nice, historical hotel. Rooms are smaller and bed was less comfy. Restaurant, bar and music were nice. Location is best. "

"Great staff, very clean, nice rooms and its perfect location to everything. The restaurant is very very slow. You will wait 20 minutes before you get a cup of water. Food is good but more workers are needed. "

"Hotel was a place to sleep bed was very comfy. Staff was super friendly. Parking lot felt safe. Room was clean but not in the best conditions the door frame was partly missing and we could see daylight through the cracks. Very close the bus station just 1 block away. I would probably stay at this location again if I were to visit NOLA. The pool was undergoing maintenance while we visited but we were not disappointed in that because it was not swimming weather anyways."

"I was surprised when we pulled up to the hotel, it felt very isolated from any type of district or neighborhood. It didn’t feel walkable to anything, but if you walk three blocks south you’ll find Feret street and plenty of interesting restaurants and businesses. The location was very convenient for our quick stopover to visit a friend at Tulane. The staff was always quick to welcome us as we passed through the lobby and we enjoyed the midcentury vibe. I don’t know that I would’ve used the pool as it was tucked behind the building and the building mechanicals and surrounded by the medical center buildings. Same for the balconies, you’re not going to be looking at anything other than the medical buildings or the parking lot. The room had a slight odor from the hvac unit. All of this to say, that for the 12 hours we stayed, it was everything we needed. Free parking allowed us to constantly come and go in our car and the proximity to the hwy allowed us to get a quick start on our 12 hour drive home."

"The concierge, Roxie McCovins is top shelf, very helpful and attentive to all our questions. She really does go above and beyond! Be ready for parking if you drive in, it is an extra $50+ a day to park in the hotel parking structure which to me seemed like they are milking the guests. No help from hotel just park and pay. Ok first to park in the hotel parking structure should be part of the hotel stay cost and not extra and second the parking payment should be included in the bill and not make you stand out in the parking lot downloading a QR code and paying the fee every day of the stay. No option we could find to pay all days at once just day by day so you have to remember to do that every day or they will boot your vehicle. A place as nice as the Westin should have a system that is better than this! The staff and rooms were all very good and what you would expect from them. The location is excellent and the shopping and view are great. Expedia might mention the parking thing above as when you are booking whatever you’re thinking is the cost if driving in it is $50+ more than the booking fee says. They also charge a post tax fee of $30 a day. So the final hotel bill is going to be around $100 a day more than the Expedia booking daily cost is. So overall very good place to stay but the management does nickel-and-dime you and seems like the exception is most will fly in so the drive in people are not enough to bother with. "
