"We loved our time. I think most of that is due to the location but the resort was also great. The night safari was my childrens favorite part of our trip. The excursions are a little overpriced and the facility is a little run down but it worked really well for our family."

"Property claims to be an all inclusive Hotel. This is to say the least a misrepresentation. The food offered is below the quality of a soup kitchen food. Way below. They know it. In fact in the same establishment and attached to their buffet room is a paid menu restaurant, to which you after looking at the type of food offered for free, you levitate to and pay full price for listed dishes.Which by the way are barely better than the buffet. Talking about free drinks: sodas yes, 4 listed alcoholic drinks with a sniff of alcohol and a ton of sugar mix in it. Perfect for a perpetuation of Diabetes illness. If you are a golfing apasionado you will find a bad maintained, small gold course. Other than that, the place offered nothing else than two poorly cleaned pools. "

"Very limited - only had 1 bath towel and no hand towel or wash cloth? Not real clean and a few bugs. Staff did not speak English so that was a challenge. Location did make it easy to walk to stuff. Ok for price"

"historic building that housed the officials overseeing the building of the canal. Apparently it is owned by the City of Colon which is missing opporunities to make this more appealing. Staff speak only Spanish (though electronic translation devices got us what we needed). Best choice, though, near cruise ships"

"This property is next to the Colon 2000 mall and the cruise port. They provide baggage check and shuttle service to the port (which was not well publicized). Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Such an amazing stay, from the house, to the surroundings and the owner. We used all the recommendations (Kamir is a great cook and wonderful person), went on a boat tour and enjoyed the Embera trip. It was our first time in the jungle and Gamboa was a great experience. Safe and friendly all around!"
