Great experience overall! It was like a time capsule back to the 70’s and we were obsessed with the vibe! The only thing we found hard was arriving later into the evening (around 10pm) and having no options for food. But overall the staff was great and the facility was really cool.

The place is old, but the staff is polite. The room was a little uncomfortable because it was stuffy. The fan worked, but it didn't help much. The dinner was delicious and the service was excellent.

Great reception staff, friendly and helpful. Convenient onsite restaurant and bar. Convenient to Basel airport - though no Uber service from hotel- get your driver’s number or plan on taxi for departure. Comfortable quiet setting. Ample parking and noticed pet friendly.

Hotel in Germany not Switzerland!

Great hotel the room was huge but it could be clearer that the hotel is in Germany and not Switzerland. The reception staff were really helpful and the beer was good :)

The staff here is easily the best I've ever experienced. Extremely helpful, kind, and fun, and they put in the extra effort to make guests feel at home and comfortable. They alone are reason to stay again, but the hotel is a great bargain as well. Loved it!

We have just got home from a long weekend staying at this hotel and cannot fault it at all We were a large group of 14 and were looked after brilliantly And a special shout out to the very friendly and helpful receptionist who was fantastic 👏👏👏

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It has not been updated since the 1980s, but its location, cleanliness and staff always made it our hotel of choice in the area. But I don’t think we’ll be back. Now there is no mini fridge in the room, 2 out 3 elevators appear permanently broken, the plumbing has issues and there is just a general sense that the owner is unwilling to invest even a single Euro. It’s a shame. A real shame.

The Hotel (especially the room) looks run down. The room had AC which did not work, fortunately one could open the window to get the heat out. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is good. Overall the stay was ok for what we were looking for. But again, the rooms could use a refresh.
