"This was my second time staying here. I love the friendly, local feel compared to high end "American" style resorts. This small resort is on the Caribben side of the island with much calmer and pleasant waters than the Atlantic side. No meals are included but there is a reasonable restaurant/bar on-site. In addition there are a number of beachside restaurants/bars easily walkable. The staff couldn't have been better. They were friendly, available for help with baggage, answer questions, call taxis, etc. Caution to persons with difficulty walking, especially up and down hills. Because St Kitts is a volcanic island that comes straight out of the sea, the resort consists of multiple buildings containing 6 or 8 rooms each, scattered on the hill above the reception area. I am elderly with joint and breathing issues. The first room assigned to us was far to high on the hill for me. Receptionist was very understanding and moved us to a lower room, which was still a bit of a climb but doable. I was very impressed that they were so accommodating without question or complaint. Fortunately, it was off season and there was a lower level room available. However, if you have walking difficulties you will want to consider this. I love St Kitts and happily get the feel of their friendly local culture at the Timothy Beach Resort."
"I loved the entire property. I felt like i was on a cruise because of the stairway and lay out then I look outside and see that we’re not moving. I loooved that there were 3 pools. The food in all the places was yummy. Breakfast buffet was the best. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I give 8/10 because the beach was not good. If I return to st kitts I will be staying at the Marriott. I only left the property once. I was never bored."
Architecturally Designed Villa in Paradise, Quiet Beach & Blue Water Views
10/10 Excellent
"One of the best views on the island! We were there in summer so we didn’t get to use the easy access to Turtle Beach since it was over taken with sea grass. We got to watch kite surfers right from the balcony. The home is beautiful and well appointed. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to be together without feeling cramped. Even though it is a 25-30 min ride into town for groceries, the ride is very scenic. The location gave us easy access to the best beaches in the island and the car ferry to Nevis which is a must! The monkeys visited every day and were a highlight. Would highly recommend!"
"This is a beautiful property with fantastic views of the gorgeous Caribbean water and of Nevis as well!! The villa is even more beautiful than the photos show! Everything about our stay here was absolutely perfect! Communication with the host before and during our stay was great! He answered all of our questions extremely promptly and gave us awesome advice of where to go and what to see while there. The villa was spotless and had all the comforts we could ever expect including Wi-Fi; AC; every kitchen appliance and gadget you can imagine; comfortable beds; and last but not least of all, a great pool! This is a wonderful villa with a great host which allowed us to have a fabulous experience here on our vacation celebrating our 36th anniversary. Can’t wait to come back!"
"The property was awesome, the 2-bedroom villa was excellent and the whole staff was pleasant. However, they will have to figure out the seaweed issue, because not being able to use the beach at the resort can’t be a long-term solution."
"Loved my room and enjoyed my few days on the property. It was quiet due to it being low season. I did appreciate the respect having a restaurant on site that serves local Caribbean food. There is nothing worse than a property only having “continental” food and not proving an opportunity to enjoy local cuisine.
The staff were all friendly and helpful anytime I had a question. They were great about booking transportation and excursions for me."
