"This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in! Great architecture and design, on a lake with a sandy beach. We enjoyed the hot tub. Close to hiking trails and the cities of Shawinigan and Trois-Rivieres. Don't miss nearby L'Olivia Table Gourmande, an amazing place for pastries and coffee, lunches and dinners. But if you want to cook yourself, the kitchen is well equipped."

"The house and property were beyond amazing. We spent 5 days and had an wonderful time. Jimmy is a perfect host and personally made sure that everything was perfect for us. We arrived during a winter storm warning. The snow was beautiful. He made sure the snow plows cleared the driveway for us every day. We could not have asked for more. Petites choses à améliorer: crochets pour le linge dans les chambres serait bien, mettre les serviettes et débarbouillettes dans les chambres, avoir 10 chaises pour la table de cuisine. Le pupitre en haut près de l’escalier est dans les jambes lorsqu’on se lève pour aller à la toillette la nuit, les baguettes de pool sont en piètre état! "Nicely provisioned traditional home with a modern kitchen. Epic view of the river. Not far from Quebec City and Trois Riviere. Soaking tub was an awesome way to end the day. Tidy bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. If American, like us, be prepared to flex your French skills to read instructions sheets. Only thing we could’ve used was a large salad bowl and missing tea kettle lid."

"We rented the property so that our adult children and grand baby could all spend Christmas together as we all live in different provinces 7 adults and one baby. As promised there was a very nice Christmas tree set up but there was not enough dishes and some were broken , for 7 adults and not enough dinning chairs , no children’s dishes or high chair, dishwasher was not working , snow was not removed , a neighbour lent us shovels so that we could get out of the driveway, deck and hot tub not...

"The chalet was beautiful and quite clean. BUT, I was very disappointed to see we were nowhere near the lake that was in the pictures! Also the fact that there were no outdoor chairs to sit on was kind of odd to us all and made it a little inconvenient. The outdoor patio near the jacuzzi was scattered with broken glass. But all in all a nice place to stay."

"We’re English speaking (with a bit of French if needed!) and check in went pretty smoothly, but helped to have a bit of French knowledge! Only thing I wish we could change is possibly having the papers during sign in available in English and French (rather than just French) for better comprehension in case guests understand less French! Rooms are good, bathroom is renovated and clean! Amenities are worth coming back for alone just for the experience! Alcoholic drinks are around 12$ at the tiki bar, pool table (free!) and slots are available in the bar. Overall environment outside is quiet with a wide range of guests (young and old couples, families etc)! Would definitely come back! "
