Location was great for getting around Portland to explore, but having a quiet place to go back to within walking distance of lots of little shops and dining. House was clean and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was super easy. Although we didn’t need it, they did provide a pack-n-play for travelling with our infant. "Our stay here, at RIVERSIDE Cottage exceeded our expectations. We loved how they set up the fire pit, in early spring, so that we could start the fire. The first thing we did was sit on the balcony. That led us down to the river for the fire. The bed downstairs was just magical. It provided us with a very magical view into cabin living. The open aired upstairs living area, punctuated by a beautiful piano, made for the perfect stay. Thank you!"

"Neat and Tidy, all things to make your visit comfortable. Would be interesting to know the history of this little place. Hosts stayed in contact. Deer and squirrels stopped by for a visit. Very quiet except when the Train passes (after a day you don’t notice it). Only disappointment was the shower, it’s “NOT A SHOWER/TUB COMBO.” The Cottage slops a bit to the South, but understandable due to age. All in all it was a great place to stay."
