"Our favourite hotel in town. Lovely staff, super helpful, good English spoken, rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. Easy parking and a nice walk by the waterside or a short stroll into town square. Good breakfast. Nice bar. Recently refurbished meeting rooms and so on. "

"As usual the room was great, check in was disappointing. It was suggested that the payment was not settled, where I had already paid Hotels.com. Not sure who was to blame for that, van der Valk or Hotels.com"

"Das Bad hatte kein Waschbecken und nur einen Handspiegel. Man musste sich am Waschbecken der kleinen Küche waschen. Das Bett war zum ausziehen und sehr umständlich zum ein- und aussteigen. Im ausgezogenen Zustand konnte man das Bad nicht öffnen. Außerdem war es sehr kalt und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht. Es hatte einen Charakter einer Jugendherberge. Man hielt sich hier nur solange wie unbedingt nötig auf. Einzig die Lage und die Sauberkeit waren positiv."
