"It was nice, but you have to go outside and through garage to get to the hot tub and pool. Also, the property is experiencing erosion and it was a little disconcerting to look up at it from the beach and see a corner of the garage have a sharp drop off."

"This was a very nice plane to stay. We had a studio and it was a lot bigger than i was expecting. The front desk person was super nice. The room was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. It was nicely updated. It was very close to the beach. We liked it. "

"Overall, the stay wasn’t bad, but it felt a bit underwhelming considering the price of the room. On the positive side, the hotel was very clean, well-stocked, and clearly family-friendly—they even provided games, along with brand new crayons and coloring books for kids. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. My biggest issue was the noise level. On Friday night around 9:30 PM, a group with children checked into the room next door and above us. There was a lot of running, stomping, and yelling that continued until about 11:30 PM. While that was frustrating, we were already awake, so it wasn’t a huge deal at the time. Unfortunately, the noise started up again early the next morning at 6:30 AM. I understand that this is largely a matter of parental supervision, not entirely the hotel’s responsibility. However, the soundproofing was a major concern. The walls and the adjoining door were so thin that it felt like the noise was coming from inside our room. Better insulation or soundproofing would make a significant difference in the overall experience."

"This place is under new ownership. Prices are good, but not everything is set up yet (like the restaurant). Give it a few months and it'll probably be excellent. "

"Overwhelming perfume smell to cover up pet friendly room. I didn't want a pet friendly room, but got stuck with one, and a horrible headache to boot. It was obvious they want to cater primarily to people with pets, free dog treats in the lobby, etc.i would only recommend this hotel to people bringing dogs. "

"This is a great place and good value fo money. This portion of Waldport is next or right in the dunes. This one was essentially in the dunes, beautiful spot. (One thing to keep in mind is there is a lot of sand, you can’t fight it, just manage it.). Beds were comfortable and it had plenty of blankets and towels. We do not cook much but the kitchen is well stocked. If you want to cook and have the energy, bring some core things with you, Ray’s. Regional supermarket chain for small towns is silly expensive. Skosh and the pizza place are both good for takeout. Luna seafood house in Yachats is a favorite of ours. Place is also well heated and just comfortable. "
