"My family had a great experience at this property. It was clean and the appliances were good to very good. The host keeps the grounds looking beautiful, and the porch and deck were terrific for relaxing. Communication with our host was very quick - anytime I had a question, it was dealt with very quickly. Pictures were provided to elaborate on details which was very nice. The location was great as we explored quite a bit of the island, and took walks and runs and this spot was great for all of it. I thought having 3 adult women and 2 men would make it difficult on the bathrooms since there is only 1.5 baths. Turns out, this was no problem at all. Our host had the place ready for us as expected with nice towels laid out, and nice other touches (soaps and such) that my wife and daughters really appreciated. We went there right in the middle of busy season and the per night price was consistent with that - but it appeared to be similar to other properties on the island. One note: The neighborhood is unpaved. This was no problem as we were in a large SUV but this is something good to know beforehand. A sedan would have been fine in there also."

"This is my second time staying at VHM. I was attending a conference and the location was great. The motel is just a few blocks around the corner from the Vineyard Haven ferry which makes it so convenient for travel. The rooms appear to have been remodeled since last year’s stay, which was a nice surprise. The gentleman who sits at the front desk is always warm and welcoming. The bus stops outside the motel and there are a lot of shops across the street. There is a private beach in the back which I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy this year. I do plan to stay again next year!"

"Beautiful hotel in such a convenient location. We loved the camp themed decor and amenities and the staff we extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations and extras (bike and umbrella rentals, towels, bus route, etc.) The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and a beautiful view. Note - there is no elevator in the main part of the hotel so be prepared to get your steps in if you are on an upper floor."

"Our stay at this Oaks Bluffs home was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had found our own peaceful retreat on Martha’s Vineyard. The property is beautifully landscaped, with lush gardens and inviting outdoor spaces that made it easy to relax and unwind.The location offered the perfect balance of privacy and convenience, quiet enough to feel like an escape, yet just a short drive or bike ride to everything the island has to offer.What truly set this experience apart was our host. Jason was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Every question was answered promptly, and it was clear that Jason genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.If you are looking for a serene, and well-maintained home with an outstanding host, this is it. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Martha’s Vineyard. Five stars all around!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming vineyard cottage! The home is a relocated gingerbread house, which gave it such a unique, quaint character. While it’s cozy, the surprisingly high ceilings made it feel much more spacious than we expected. It comfortably accommodated my three kids, my mom, and me without feeling cramped.The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our time together. One of our favorite features was the large backyard—it was the perfect place for the kids to run around and play while we relaxed. There are beach chairs which came in handy as well. The location was another huge plus. It was an easy walk or bike ride into downtown Oak Bluffs, making it convenient to explore the shops, restaurants, and harbor without having to drive.Overall, this was a delightful place to stay, full of charm and in a fantastic location. We’d happily stay here again!"
