"Debbie is an excellent host. We enjoyed the lake view immensely, and proximity to the U. of M. bio station, state parks, and beaches.You're almost in the UP, so there is no air conditioning. Nice fans, and wonderful jalousie windows that give cross ventilation. Just mentioning the no AC because some have grown to believe they need it. Temperatures averaged about 60 at night, though warm and humid during the day when we were there. Stargazing on the deck was a highlight. Plenty of loon activity.Kitchen not only has plenty of dishes, but also a lot of spices.All the doors and screens were very tight, so zero mosquitoes invaded. It's a big year for them.About a half hour drive to the beautiful beaches and dunes north of Cross Village on Lake Michigan. Roughly the same time to the Dark Sky Park up near the Straits. 25 minutes to Mackinaw City. Entrance to Bio Station and Gorge Trail were maybe 4 minute drive.Mattresses were good, but we're accustomed to airbnbs that cost less and have outstanding mattresses. So that was a bit of a downside."

"We had a fantastic stay and would definitely rent this home again. It was the perfect setup for spending time with family and having our kids’ friends join us.The house has plenty of space to gather, with large tables that were great for family dinners, games, and hanging out together. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking for a group easy.The outdoor space was one of the highlights. The large yard gave the kids plenty of room, and the lake was wonderful with a sandy bottom that made swimming and being in the water really enjoyable. The dock was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the lake had to offer.Overall, it’s a great lake house for families and groups. Comfortable, well-equipped, and set up perfectly for making memories together. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"This cabin was nothing but perfection. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The host were responsive and welcoming. The cabin felt cozy and like you were right at home. From the cleanliness, to the beautiful appliances and dock, we were extremely impressed. The view is breathtaking, and the hot tub was wonderful. I can’t say enough. We will definitely book sometime again!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was was very clean. It was in a spot that was only a 20-30 minute drive in any direction to finding fun things to do. There was so much to do in the area that we should have stayed longer. Having the lake on the property made each evening a peaceful end to the day with fishing off the dock, a gorgeous view of the lake and enjoying a fire as we wound down for the evening."

"We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials for cooking, sleeping, bathing, and storing food. The added bonus of replenished firewood made our evening bonfires even more enjoyable. The lake amenities were excellent and easily accessible throughout our stay. Fishing was productive, and the complimentary rowboats, kayaks, and paddle boards with life jackets provided a great way to explore the lake. The lake is well-maintained with eight aeration bubblers that support a healthy ecosystem and enhance the overall outdoor experience. Highly recommended!"
