"It was a fun location for 14 friends. Nice common spaces for gathering. Some issues: the lock codes did not work and it is impossible to call anyone, I was texting with someone who finally gave me a master code. Lighting in Cottage 2 was lacking. Large size guests had difficulty with the showers in the cottages"

"This house is a great location for our visit to Burt Lake. Our main comment is the old mattresses, pillows and bedding. The house needs a total refresh in that department! Also, the lighting in the house is inadequate. We stayed here last summer too. Because of the location, we booked it again. It’s a sweet little cottage, but needs attention. "

"We booked Gooseberry Lodge last minute for our family of 5. The cabin was perfectly sized for two adults and three children. We spent most of our time on the expansive dock and enjoyed dinner sunsets from the back deck. The mooring buoy made it easy to stop back at the house for lunch while out tubing on the lake. Proximity to town and to the highway made day trips super easy - especially with three kids in tow. Communication with the owners was seamless and timely. We really appreciated the recommendations as it was our first time to Burt Lake. "

"Our family of four had a fantastic time at Palmer’s Cottage. The house is very spacious with tons of space to spread out. There are 3 showers (4 total bathrooms) which was super helpful after the group finished up swimming. The property is spacious and well maintained. There is a large dock and shallow water for floating and fun. There are lots of golf options within 25 minutes that was super convenient for us along with a similar distance to Mackinaw. Overall, great experience and would certainly recommend this cottage!"
