"The hotel, room, restaurant and staff were wonderful. The room size was a bit larger than most and comfortable. There was no air-conditioner that we could find, but it was cool there in august and we left a couple of windows open, which was fine. The one complaint we have is that the bathroom arrangement was not ideal with separate shower, jacuzzi and vanity area which had to be closed off together for toilet privacy so that my wife could not use the vanity at the same time as I needed to toilet or shower. The view from our room was wonderful."

"Our family had an amazing week at the beach house in Maxwelton. What a special place. Just a perfect stretch of beach and amazing views. It is so quiet and peaceful there and we could walk for miles at low tide and paddle right from the house. The house is beautiful and well cared for. We had everything we needed, and appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!"

"What a terrific stay. The home and its location were both wonderful. The hostess was wonderful. It was all-around terrific. The home is about equidistant to Poulsbo and Kingston, so while it feels “away from it all” you’re not isolated if you don’t want to be. Great parks and beaches nearby, too. I want to go back sooner than later."

"Only thing is I had time to panic about check in. I could have totally accepted “you’ll have before you need it”. Some things didn’t work like light switches and how to turn on what we needed. But we dealt and it certainly didn’t spoil that view!! Thank you! We just got home after dawdling in Poulsbo! Happy and relaxed! Time for a glass of wine!"

"A beautiful home and surrounding gardens with an amazing view. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely recommend!! Having a fenced in yard for our Cocker Spaniel was a real bonus."
