"We had an incredible stay at this Broadkill Beach home. It was perfect for our group of four couples with kids, offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The views were stunning — you can see all the way across the Bay to Lewes — and the short walk over the dune to the beach made every day easy and fun. The house was fully equipped with beach gear, games, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved our time here and would happily return."

"All went well after some trouble figuring out the heating. Home wasn't winterized when we arrived on a 40 deg day. It was 51 deg inside and furnace and baseboard heating weren't working. Spoke w property mgr who was making efforts for tech to come but we couldn't wait as it was freezing. Bought 4 space heaters for our use. After a lot of trouble shooting on our own, checked the main elec panel and found to our surprise that all the breakers to heating system were in off position. Got the baseboard heaters working but furnace never started. Space heaters were adequate to keep the upstairs reasonably warm. No one was ableTo come thru our stay and we made do. Nice stay overall other than the heating issue. We may have been the first winter renter and they hadn't winterized the home prior. Listing agent said our expenses will be reimbursed as well as some compensation for our lost day. Sounds legit but I'm still waiting for word from accounting, 20 days later. "

"The home was exactly as described. The deck was amazing for catching the sunrise, and much appreciated that it was fully gated for my dogs. Loved having direct access to the beach."

"Amazing! My partner and our 11-year old and 13-year old had an amazing weekend getaway for my partner's birthday. The property was the perfect size for our family and had all the necessities we needed to give us more time to relax and enjoy our short stay. Everything was immaculate, from the cleanliness to upkeep and maintenance. Everything was in working order. Steve and his wife were great hosts. They were available throughout our stay to answer any questions we may have had and to share fishing knowledge of the area. I could tell that Captain Steve loves to fish, and he loves to see others fish, especially kids! He was so welcoming and seemed so happy to share his private dock with us. I wasn't sure how it would work out for us to spend the weekend in a family's in-law quarters while the family was in other parts of the house. Would it be weird to be in a house when the family that lived there was upstairs? Would we feel like we weren't able to fully enjoy the property and our stay?It turned out to be perfect! At no point did we feel uncomfortable or like we were intruding, and our hosts made us feel like family. They made sure we knew we could reach out to them at any point, but not once did we feel weird about anything, and we never felt like we were being monitored or anything like that. Aside from the fishing, the outside bath house was my partner's favorite part of the trip because he could use the amazing purple toilet while still being outside yet private."
