"It's a lovely hotel, delightful staff and service. It would be so much better if they provided clothes storage in the bedroom - other than hanging space, there was nowhere to put other clothing, and this meant that for four nights we had to live out of suitcases."

"Lodge was smaller than expected, and didn’t have a kitchen area as shown in the picture. Air conditioner would also make a massive difference. The location was fantastic, and the people were very friendly. The food and drink at the pub were excellent."

Whilst is was a very enjoyable first visit to Northumberland the weather was not overly kind to us. Unfortunately because of the sea conditions we were not able to visit Farne Islands. However all other places visited were well worth the time spent:)
