They seem to be renovating many of their rooms which gave the appearance they were closed, leading to some confusion checking in. "

"This cabin was divine. Cozy but room enough — main bedroom plus a loft bedroom on the second floor. A generous main room plus kitchen, and a really nice smart TV for entertainment. Super clean and updated. The view … it’s all about the location and the view. Out the back door you are literally a few steps from the ocean — high tide and low tide, both spectacular for a walk out on the rocks. Every morning you wake up, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and just enjoy the tranquility. Watch the lobster boats go out, and the gulls and ducks, and listen to the waves lap at the rocks. Nearby, both the Milbridge House and Vazquez Mexican restaurants are really good, and the grocery store is only about 12 minutes away. Acadia is anywhere from 45 to 75 minutes away, depending on where you’re going in the park, I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to friends. "
