"Racism abounds!! The front desk staff were only too eager to place my husband and I in inferior rooms when we arrived. I had to aggressively self advocate as a woman of colour (and the one paying the tab!) for a room on the top floor! The hotel decor is nice but dated… lots of dark browns and beiges…. The cafe front staff was disrespectful and condescending. We waited more than five minutes to be acknowledged. They whispered to each other for a couple minutes then without even a “good day” one of them said “come with me”. The entire town was like this… I was happy when we were across the border and back in Canada!"

"I paid for breakfast when I booked through Expedia, but they said I didn’t so I wasted38 dollars. Then they said they would give me points for this mistake which I never received!"

"The drawer door to the trash can bin was off the hinge. Also, the paper towel dispenser in one of the bathrooms near the fitness centerwas open with no paper in it. Several items for breakfast were gone and not replaced for guests."

"This was a great stay all away around. The host, the house, the location, all were 10/10. The host went out of her way for us because we needed a last-minute booking. The home is exactly as pictured. It felt like you were invited to someone’s home - warm, cozy, and so comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and in a great location. We can highly recommend this stay. "

"DONT STAY HERE . Go to a hotel. These people should have no clue how to run a business . VRBO should do better. I’ll never stay in a VRBO again. I got off the plane a 7:00pm I was at the house at about 8ish. Tried to contact the owner for hours . The final answer . Once answered they demanded ID of all the guest and demanded more money per guest . NEVER have I been charged per guest on a VRBO. What a nightmare that was trying get them to communicate prices. Mind you I’m still sitting in the drive way it’s now 9ish. VRBO is an absolute joke also . No help at all. After communicating for over 5 hours they finally gave us the code. 30 to 40 minutes between questions and answer. Thought I was being scammed The house furniture is all from goodwill . The beds and sheets are terrible . The beds are 1980 springs. The chairs to sit in smell. The mirror in the main bathroom looks like it was in a horror movie . The floors are so loud , if anyone moves upstairs it will wake you.I could keep going on and on . You get the picture . DONT STAY HERE . "
