"We loved this unique family friendly stay 30 min away from Penn State for our family with 5 kids! All the essentials were available at the church house (linens, towels, toiletries, paper products, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc). It was a very comfortable and homey. Megan was able to accommodate an early check-in for us and kind enough to leave some goodies for us upon arrival. She was always available to answer any questions we had. We loved the property and would stay here again. "

"The place was good and the location seems really good if you have time to hike. Unfortunately we were only staying for one night. Clean and cozy. Some additional information ahead of arrival for check in would have been good, especially now knowing that there would be no cell coverage."

"This was our second stay at the Trout Run Cottage, and once again, it was wonderful! It truly is a hidden gem, and Margaret and Jesse are the most welcoming hosts.The cottage is cozy, spotless, and has everything you could possibly need. We loved sitting by the creek with a book, enjoying the fire pit, and relaxing in the jacuzzi on the screened-in porch.It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place to escape the everyday hustle and just relax and recharge. We absolutely love it here and give this cottage a 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return! "Breakfast was great (why can't slobs clean their tables off and throw their trash away when done? 😡). Check in was fast. The lobby and surrounding areas were clean. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was pretty cold, we didn't get in. That was a little disappointing."
