"Beautiful and sparkling clean rooms set in a really wonderful piece of land. The photos don't do it justice! My one complaint would be that we had heard so much about the wonderful breakfasts and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the more extensive menu is exclusively offered to people stopping in for breakfast only. We would have happily paid to upgrade from our free breakfast! "

"This is a lovely, magical property. Set high up, you often find yourself in the early morning rainforest clouds. You can enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio as the clouds burn off and beautiful Lake Arenal appears below you in the distance. An incredible fresh breakfast is provided each morning! Best of all is the attentiveness of Patrick, your host. He is always quick to respond to your needs and wants and ready to help you book excursions and experiences. The views are great, the setting beautiful and the property well maintained. "

"Our family of four stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. We loved the pool, the beds, and the view. In the mornings, we would wake up to birds singing and watch them in the trees. It was a highlight. The sunsets were beautiful, and the location was perfect. This beautiful house by the lake was a short 40ish minutes from the hustle and crowds of La Fortuna, in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Although it wasn't cheap, this property was a great stay and I highly recommend it. "

"The property needs to be advertised better . What’s in the photos is not the room I received. The ac is not on and takes a while to cool the bedroom as that’s the only room with ac . The water pressure is not good at all . I couldn’t get my long hair rinsed out . The items included on the welcome package were not included . They only serve pizza at the restaurant at the establishment. My room was not cleaned and I stayed 4 days . Left for breakfast daily and no bed made or garbage removed ."

"Lots of space and a very nice property, would absolutely rent again. Kitchen had decent cookware and I liked that it was fairly remote as I don't like to be in busy areas. Be advised that the lighting inside isn't the best, especially in the main living room. When I booked this VRBO it said that it had laundry but this is not the case. I asked the host about it (and he was very communicative and nice) and he said that we could leave it in a pile by the door and the cleaning person would do it for us. That would have been great but the pile was still there when we got back that night so we weren't able to do laundry. Overall a great value and I highly recommend!"
