"After flying in with four of us from Los Angeles on a Red Eye, we had to drive around for 4-5 hours until we were able to check in at 4pm, however after hours of trying to get into the property with no answer on the contact number ,we finally were able to have the local property manager come out and say that the property overbooked and had no room for us. "Unfortunately, I was unable to make this trip due to medical issue. I tried to cancel booking through Expedia, at 5:30, and was told I couldn't cancel and the Hotel was keeping an amount of money, which was more I paid for the room. That was a refundable booking as well. Expedia was going to reach out to the hotel directly to see if they would waive the cancelation price, but the hotel didn't. Next step was filing a claim with the travel insurance company - this entire process is pain staking. I will see what happens from there. The rating was solely based on the Hotel staff not working with Expedia or even forgiving a portion of the room price. So much for refundable bookings, I guess they only work when there is no last minute documented emergency involved."

"This is not a family friendly hotel, at least not for us. I (52F) was traveling with my 78-year-old mother. The bathroom has a non-locking, lightly frosted sliding door, and it was very easy to see the outline of the person on the other side of the bathroom door. This door also opened directly in view of the beds, so there was no way to retain any modesty. Since we were told at the front desk that all the rooms were set up that way, we had to obtain an extra sheet and hang it awkwardly over the sliding door to feel comfortable using the bathroom. Otherwise, the room was fine, so if you are traveling alone or with your significant other you may not mind it. I personally would not stay there again with anyone besides my spouse."

"Stepping from the exterior of this roadside strip motel is like stepping into a modern, attractive room at a bigger name hotel for an amazing price. My only complaint is that (all kinds of) noise travels between rooms, but the trade off was being able to come down from New England for a day of adventure in NYC and have a good rest before driving home. Actually, we discovered the Westchester County area has a lot to offer in its own right and explored before our return drive. We slept through breakfast...go before 9:30 if you want to try it. But consequently driving a short distance for Long Island Bagels led to another rewarding discovery."
