I stayed in this hotel every time I visited Beijing, So it has come to feel like a home away from home. I liked that the hotel has a simple, clean and comfortable style. I want to especially thank a hotel staff named Mango. He was very sweet and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location is extremely convenient, with direct access to the subway from the hotel basement, making it easy to get around . Staff were good if a bit clinical in general. But a very nice touch - a birthday cake was delivered to our room because they noticed we had a birthday in our group! (Likely due to guest registration details.) Room itself was superb - good fit-out, good condition, and faultless air-con and shower. Gym was the best I've seen in a hotel anywhere in the world! Good range of equipment, well-maintained. Only negative was the swimming pool - it wasn't in the best shape and could do with a freshen up.

The new, spacious rooms are immaculately clean, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to help us. They changed our room without hesitation and even carried our luggage between rooms. Honestly, I think this is one of the best value-for-money hotels. It’s conveniently located near the subway, making it ideal for both business and leisure travellers.

1. Swisotel: It's in a good location, right in front of Dongsi Shitiao subway (Line 2) exit C. Great staff. Clean rooms, nice showers, comfortable beds and pillows, and soundproofing. You cannot control the room temperature, but you can open the window, and the staff will bring a fan into the room. It offers a variety of breakfast options, though it’s expensive if you don't have a big appetite in the morning. The food was tasty but not warm enough. Nearby are McDonald's, KFC, a 7/11 across the street, and other restaurants. Also, there was a surprise birthday cake! I enjoyed my stay and I will definitely book again at this time Swissotel.

Super helpful staff, friendly towards foreigners. Was assisted multiple times - directions, tour bookings, recommendations etc. Special thanks to Mr Spring Si and Mr Lang who helped me with arranging and booking a tour of the Great Wall, Tian An Men Square and Forbidden City Tour. Location is great too - being right beside the metro, it was super convenient to get to shopping centres and the train station. This offered a great alternative (faster) to being stuck in the Beijing traffic. Nice and clean room. Overall, would highly recommend.

I had an issue with my Schengen visa (they issued me a 24 hour visa instead of a 240 hour). I had a phone number to call and the staff at the desk were very helpful in contacting the border patrol at Schengen airport to correct the mistake. They even arranged for the new Visa sticker to be sent to the reception desk for me to pick up. A++++++ service! The hotel breakfast was a feast in itself. What a treat to start my mornings.
