Hottest shower in Beijing!

Hottest shower in Beijing To be fair, I did shower very early in the morning. Friendly staff. Safe neighborhood. Very plain, simple absolutely no thrills. Amazingly, this older hotel did not smell of cigarette smoke. Skip the horrible subway taxi line! Itโ€™s an easy subway ride and then short walk from the train station. Easy to find. Leave yourself plenty of time to get back to the train station, the closest subway is huge to get across. I gave myself an hour to the fast trains and had just enough time. The hotel would not help me call a taxi. Provided an international adapter for guests. Had a nice tv with an English news station. Room is huge, perfect for repacking your bag before the next leg of your journey They charged my credit card a deposit and I had to pay in cash onsite. A very hard Asian style bed, stained hallway carpets, crispy rough towels, loud street noises right outside-but the price was right. Its in a โ€œquietโ€ suburb and doesnโ€™t have many foreign guests. Therefore itโ€™s likely not your home base for a week of touring Beijing but when youre tired and dirty and you want to reset your backpacking, itโ€™s perfect.

Very nice! Worthy of my next reservation

A historic landmark yet the staying experience is kept very modern. I enjoyed a great night here. Check-in process is efficient, room is clean and the breakfast is yummy...nothing to complain especially with this attractive price....Close to Beijing South station (10 mins at maximum by taxi) so the location is also good. Highly recommend!

Great location that is close to railroad stations (west & south) and temple of heaven. The suite that can sleep up to 3 is roomy. The bathroom need to have a divider or something to separate the toilet and shower area to make it look nicer.

Local sites and good people

Great location for central Beijing and shuttle buses to airport and Great Wall (Bejing South Station). Locals very warm and friendly. Great breakfast in hotel even if not a lot of English spoken. Very friendly. Decent sized room and bathroom. Not the best maintained hotel but a very pleasant area, good staff and very good value for money.

The lobby smells of cigarettes because they allowed people to smoke in the building. Thereโ€™s not one staff who is bilingual at reception so communication required translation app. There is no instruction in the room on how to use AC because everything is in Chinese characters. Wifi works half the time. Shower pressure and bed comforter were good.
