"This was our second time staying at MaryArte. The house is located right on Playa San Miguel, which is a beautiful natural beach (we even saw a sea turtle this time). The house is spacious and clean. Lots of shade and places to relax including the pool area. We love the outdoor kitchen which is well equipped. The host is welcoming and easy to reach. Thank you again for a lovely stay, we can't wait for next year!"

"The house is as advertised, beautiful and well equipped. The location is isolated enough for privacy, but only 35 minutes from Samara. There is air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, which is necessary given the heat and humidity. The property manager Diego is really helpful and communicative. A great location!"

"This was our first visit to Costa Rica. Wanted to be away from tourists and experience the beauty and nature of this country. Mike's home location was everything we wanted. The pros: location and view. The views are unbelievable. I could spend hours looking at the birds and butterflies. You truly feel like you are alone in this beautiful spot. The bedrooms / bathrooms were good. Tony the care taker was very helpful. Cons: our visit was during the rainy season. So much of the dislikes was related...

"One week before arrival i replied to the emails send by vacasa/vrbo; 3 emails to ask for local persons contact. Did not receive any reply on the emails. So we had to wait by the gate. Had to call to vacasa USA, several calls, a mess. Once entered the property, big was the surprise when we saw the walls full of dirty traces in all chambers! Oxidation from the fans made a complete mess. Bedsheets, walls, all full of sprinkled oxidation. Also only 1 towel per person for the whole stay (4days!)...

"This beach spot is a little slice of heaven! Definitely recommend 4wd and some perseverance to reach the spot, but this is an incredible and relatively isolated beach spot. Hans and heike live upstairs of the apartment and were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s a cute and simple little apartment with everything you need for a peaceful beach getaway."
