"The staff, especially King, were extremely helpful. The room was clean. I was hoping for a more substantial breakfast. There was only cereal and waffles. Some toast or pastry would have been nice. We were just stopping over night on a longer trip. It was perfectly adequate for that."

"We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were absolutely excellent and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were so warm and accommodating that we truly felt like part of their extended family. One of the highlights was when they brought over fresh clams and oysters for us to enjoy for a clam bake dinner—such a thoughtful and memorable touch!The property itself is lovely, and if you’re resourceful and willing to explore, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the area and make the most of your stay. The property is located in a very rural area, so if you’re looking for a quiet getaway, it’s a great fit. There are lots of beautiful back roads with very minimal traffic, which makes the area especially nice for running, biking, and exploring at a slower pace. I would just recommend setting expectations around the location. The nearby “town” is very small and doesn’t offer much in terms of restaurants or activities, so having a plan for outings is helpful.Also, the water directly off the property isn’t really swimmable. You can kayak out to the sandbar for a better spot, or drive a bit to reach an actual beach. For us, this wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely something future guests should know when planning their stay.Overall, the hospitality was truly special, and we’re very grateful for the wonderful experience!"

"We had a fantastic stay. Everything was exactly as described and we enjoyed all the amenities the property had to offer. Kids especially loved the pool, kayaks, and fishing! We would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a quiet place to lounge and enjoy time along the bay."

"Overall, a nice getaway. The property is somewhat remote, private and beautiful. The house is close enough to the water to enjoy spectacular views. We spotted herons, egrets, rails, osprey, and two types of gulls. There were plenty of crabs in the swampy area visible from the pier. There were also lots of butterflies.We enjoyed spending time on the deck, and the house was comfortable.The second bathroom/third bedroom is downstairs, which one of us found inconvenient. Otherwise, we give this property a high recommendation."
