"This is a very nice hotel with spacious, well-kept suites. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant in the hotel (Tides) is actually very good. There was only one odd quirk. When we arrived in our suite, we found that the bath gel dispenser was completely empty. Although we made three requests to the desk and guest services, and were promised that they would take care of the issue, we were never able to get the soap refilled. We even spoke with two of the cleaning staff directly to no avail. Finally, we went to the front desk and they were able to provide several tiny bars of hand soap that worked just fine. Like I said, quirky, and it seemed like a simple request, but we couldn't get it resolved. We always bring our own shampoo and conditioner, but rely on the hotel to provide hand and bath soap so this was a new one for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, however, and I like that it was off the beaten path of the "boardwalk"."

"Our stay was wonderful. The condo is in a very quiet, tree covered area. We did not hear our neighbors other than a few times walking to cars and to the pool. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Pillows were comfortable. Our family settled in and felt at home very easily. We loved walking every morning and having coffee on the patio. The door code was easy and so convenient. The pool being just a few yards away was very nice. We enjoyed the space and comfort of the family room! Putting the tv above the fireplace would make it easy to watch from the kitchen and all the living room chairs as well as people playing games at the dining room table. It would be helpful to provide more than three pods for dishes and laundry. Beach days with a family are messy and I prefer to keep clothes and towels clean so I do a load a day. Lastly, we really like to take bike rides and loved that the condo provided bikes, however they were very hard to ride. The chairs and floaties provided were wonderful and cut down on us having to bring any. We booked this trip pretty last minute and are so glad we did! I had a ton of questions and the communication was quick, courteous and helpful!"

"Very enjoyable stay in Cape Charles! Super cute set up for a couple or friends traveling. There is a spot to charge the golf cart rental. Check in was very easy. Spacious, close to downtown and short golf cart ride to the beach. We did notice some marina noise that seemed to start early so if sleeping in is a priority that is something to consider with this location. Bed was comfortable. Small kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Small freezer space so limited ice storage if you need that for your beach cooler. Overall great place to stay in an adorable beach town."

"Very helpful host. Really cute apartment and comfortable bed. Just needs a floor lamp between sofa and chair because the ceiling light is so bright and the remote to lower the light wasn’t working. It was decorated SO cute and we really enjoyed the private outdoor deck! Everything we needed was provided and it was great to be able to walk to all the shops and still be only a couple blocks from the beach. Couldn’t have been a better location!! We had a wonderful stay!"
