"Very close to a lot of wineries & restaurants. Beautiful flowers in the yard. Scott answered my messages quickly. The shower had great hot water and pressure . However, since we paid a cleaning fee, we shouldn't be expected to strip the bed & start the towels in the washer. ( at the time we stayed, the washer needed a repair so we didn't have to do the towels) The house was recently refurbished so it looked good. They should have put tile or vinyl flooring in the bedroom as the carpet was already stained."

"We love Maison Monroe! Our second stay here with our dog. Beautiful property with comfy beds, lovely patio and super dog friendly. Steve our host was awesome. He gave us some great recommendations for wine tastings. Perfect location. Close to fabulous food and wineries. We walked to Hayward Restaurant for a Delicious Dinner and a yummy brunch at The Bind Pig. FYI not many places open on Tuesday in Carlton. We stayed for 5 days. Roths Market in McMinnville is a very nice place to get groceries if you’re cooking. We made breakfast every morning in the well stocked kitchen. Our trip was all about Oregon Pinot Noir so having the Dundee Hills and Yamhill Carlton AVA’s 15-20 minutes away was a big plus!We will be back…"

"Pet friendly, cute spot very close to town (easy 5 min walk to restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and shops). House was extremely clean and nicely done (the pillows were overly firm, my only real issue with anything at the house). There is a big backyard and nice patio space. If you bring your dog, be cautious of the dogs at the houses on both sides of the rental as they seem rather excitable (and one put its face through the fence, barking and growling). We spent time outside with our dog (she loved the sunny patio!) but once that happened, we made sure we were listening in case the dogs next door were let out. The town of Carlton was really great - exceptional dining options, cute wine tasting rooms and shops. A great option in wine country!"
