"Wine Country Escape was a wonderful retreat for our girls trip exploring the Willamette Valley. The house is very large. Each bedroom offered comfort and privacy with just enough bathrooms to making getting ready easy.Carlton is walkable and offers all the necessities that made our stay effortless. Joka was thoughtful, responsive, and a great host. Thanks for a great weekend."

"We loved our stay in Carlton and this property was perfect - spacious, clean and the location was ideal since it was a block off the main street. We walked to wineries and restaurants. This was our first time to the area and we would definitely stay at this property again. Host was very communicative and townhouse was very well stocked. Highly recommend!!"

"Very close to a lot of wineries & restaurants. Beautiful flowers in the yard. Scott answered my messages quickly. The shower had great hot water and pressure . However, since we paid a cleaning fee, we shouldn't be expected to strip the bed & start the towels in the washer. ( at the time we stayed, the washer needed a repair so we didn't have to do the towels) The house was recently refurbished so it looked good. They should have put tile or vinyl flooring in the bedroom as the carpet was already stained."

"We love Maison Monroe! Our second stay here with our dog. Beautiful property with comfy beds, lovely patio and super dog friendly. Steve our host was awesome. He gave us some great recommendations for wine tastings. Perfect location. Close to fabulous food and wineries. We walked to Hayward Restaurant for a Delicious Dinner and a yummy brunch at The Bind Pig. FYI not many places open on Tuesday in Carlton. We stayed for 5 days. Roths Market in McMinnville is a very nice place to get groceries if you’re cooking. We made breakfast every morning in the well stocked kitchen. Our trip was all about Oregon Pinot Noir so having the Dundee Hills and Yamhill Carlton AVA’s 15-20 minutes away was a big plus!We will be back…"

"Nice little place for visiting wine country. Exactly as pictured, exceptionally clean. Very safe fence for pets. Although it is definitely walking distance to town, the town is very small and restaurants are average with the exception of Hayward. Overall, a great property ."
