"The room was spotless, and our stay was well beyond our expectations. We stayed in the Elvis room and yes, Elvis did stay at the hotel. The classic old hotel will be celebrating her 100th birthday next year. Built with 18" thick walls, it has helped her age well. The Breakfast served was fantastic and well worth the time spent enjoying the wonderful company of Maggie the manager and the owners as were there decorating each room to perfection. It was a wonderful experience stumbling on to this historic gem in Gonzales."

"We stayed in the prairie flower cabin and had the best trip! No doubt the best part was the kayaks and paddle boards! We never had to wait to use one and very much enjoyed the calm river! Lots of other activities as well! Can’t wait to go back!"
